Mike Meyer is a seasoned IT professional and business leader based in the Louisville, Kentucky metro area (Southern Indiana), where he lives with his wife and three children. He has over two decades of experience in data center infrastructure, managed services, and building compliant, secure environments for enterprise organizations. His expertise spans across technical and operational domains, helping to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Mike has held key roles in prominent companies such as Flexential, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and AHEAD, where he contributed to the success of pre-sales engineering, data-driven operations, and managed services teams.

Currently serving as Director of Strategy and Governance at AHEAD, Mike has been pivotal in the development of NextGen Managed Services, where he leverages advanced automation, AI, and AIOps to optimize client environments. His leadership has been instrumental in transitioning the company’s service model to one that is data-centric, enabling better client insights and creating new revenue streams. He has also overseen the integration of new technologies into the company’s offerings and developed technical sales training programs to enhance the sales team’s effectiveness. Prior to this role, he also led managed services infrastructure teams at AHEAD, providing clients with innovative solutions to meet their evolving IT needs.

Mike’s career began at Flexential (formerly Peak 10), where he spent 10 years in various leadership roles, including developing the company’s first partner alliance program and overseeing national account service delivery. During his tenure at HPE, Mike served as a Senior Data Architect and Senior Solutions Architect, where he specialized in cloud-based solutions, disaster recovery, and storage infrastructure, helping clients achieve reliable and scalable IT environments.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Mike is an entrepreneur, having co-founded multiple businesses including Kyntenio, SMPL Link, and the Conversation Research Institute (CRI). He played a significant role in the development and eventual sale of CRI, a social media research firm that helped clients analyze public conversations to uncover trends and insights. Mike is also deeply involved in the Louisville start-up community, where he continues to mentor and contribute to local innovation.

Mike’s passion for community service is evident in his role as the Community Connections Coordinator for The Prisoner’s Hope, a nonprofit organization that supports incarcerated individuals and their families. Additionally, he co-manages an Etsy shop with his daughter, selling pop culture and Louisville-themed stickers, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to family endeavors.

Beyond his professional life, Mike is also an author of two books on faith, *Solomon Assembly* and *The Lion in My House*, which reflect his personal journey and spiritual insights.
